Our Story

Unit History

The Charles County Area Unit of Parliamentarians (CCAU) was chartered on January 3, 2018 at the Green Turtle restaurant in LaPlata, MD. The Unit was charted by 7 members of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP). The President of the NAP Mr. Jim Jones and Vice President Ms. Wanda Sims installed the chartering officers (see below). We must acknowledge that the unit was guided by the giant in parliamentary procedure Mr. John Stackpole, PRP.
